Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do I have to be Adjusted (or “cracked”)

No! Many of our patients prefer not to be adjusted, or only have certain parts of their body adjusted.

We are not here to force you, and we can address your pain WITHOUT having to adjust you!

2. Do you only do adjustments?

Absolutely not. For the vast majority of our patients, they have already tried the traditional chiropractic adjustments, and that’s why they come to see us for a Different Approach

3. How are you guys different than traditional chiropractors and PT’s?

To start, we really focus on getting to the Root Cause of your pain so that we can create Long-Term relief for our patients.

This is what helps our patients feel empowered to take charge of their health and live longer, healthier lives where they are not dependent on doctors to “fix” the same problems ongoing.

4. Do I need to keep coming back forever?

Absolutely NOT. This is where we are truly different from most traditional chiropractors.

Our plan is to fix your problem and give you the tools so that you DON’T have to rely on us long-term.

5. What conditions do you treat?

We treat a variety of different areas of pain, injury, and stiffness.

Most commonly we treat Back, Neck, Hip, Shoulder, Knee, Ankle, and Elbow pains…but within these regions are quite literally Dozens of different specific injuries that we will assess and figure out the true reason why the pain is there.

6. I have Arthritis. Can you help me?

Truthfully, there is no “cure” for arthritis. So if someone else told you that. Run.

What we do is minimize or eliminate the pain/discomfort with arthritis so you’re not limited in living your life because of the arthritis!

7. Do I need a referral to come see you?

Nope! As doctors of chiropractic, there is no referral required to see us.

8. Will you tell me to stop working out like my other doctors did?

Absolutely NOT. Movement is Medicine, so keeping you moving is our #1 priority!

9. My doctor told me NOT to see a Chiropractor. Is it safe?

Truthfully, many MD’s are apprehensive about referring to chiropractors because they often haven’t interacted with many themselves. Beyond “rest and take pills”, they aren’t given much training on these types of pains, and I can also guarantee they are not familiar with how our specific practice operates.

Lastly, when you look at the rates of injury or death from opioids/pain meds or surgery compared to from chiropractic care, the results will speak for themselves.

10. My doctors are recommending I get an injection or surgery. What do you think?

Our philosophy is that injections or surgery should be a Last Resort

Many of our patients have been able to avoid surgery through working with us on proper mobility, strength, and stabilization exercises

11. Will I be in pain after the session?

The vast majority of our patients always walk out feeling better than when they came in. However, you will be moving around during the session, so you can expect some fatigue from the exercises.

12. Will you give me exercises to do at home?

Absolutely! During your visits in office, we’ll work 1-on-1 with you to coach and guide you through exercises personalized for your specific case. Then, we’ll give you a simple plan to follow at home so you can build on the progress you make during each visit.

13. I’m working out with a trainer. Can you work at the same time as they are working with me?

Yes! Many of our patients find us this way actually. We work WITH our patients’ trainers to keep you working out with them and get faster results!
